Powered by a Davis Vantage Vue weather station, Twin Hollies is part of Our Special Net's dream of linking family and friends. By the very nature of its content, Twin Hollies extends a welcome to anyone interested in weather information.
Data is collected with the Vantage Vue console by Virtual Weather Station and/or WeatherLink Software, and the site is updated every minute or so, with flash updates attempted at 6 seconds, depending on internet traffic, and nearby mesonet stations.
Twin Hollies drives a Frankfort KY NWS Weather Radio feed (162.5 mHz) to Weather Underground, powered by a Midland WR-300 receiver.
Weather Radar provided by Weather Underground, and the National Weather Service.
